Crafty update

In progress: an antique pattern a friend from work found. After a few restarts and some help, it's coming right along. It's for my new nephew. Hopefully it will be done by her shower on May 6th. 

Here is a close up of the stitches - I played with the light, so it's not perfect. The yarn is a white and also a blue/green variegated. I'm really pleased with how it's coming out. 

This is what I made for our little girl. It turned out like it was supposed to turn out - into a star. I need to wash and block it now, but I haven't started washing her stuff yet, so it's in limbo for now. 

A closer look. It was a free pattern on a flyer @ one of the craft stores. I used stash yarn, so it's not perfect, but it's good enough for home made ;)
