Wild hair crafting

I got a wild hair (as my mother would say) a few months ago and used this tutorial to make coasters. I made lots. I cut 5x5 squares then put them together. As per my nature, I didn't count how many of whatever I needed, I just crafted. I ended up with lots of mismatched coasters. Since I want to give them as presents for Christmas, I'll need to make more to even them out.

I made these as a wedding present for a friend.

These are going to be pin cushions when I find some cute Christmas buttons.
