I have teh herpes on my face. It's ugly and contagious. It came up on Friday morning and I'm glad I went ahead to the dr because I
thought it was bacterial instead of viral and was treating it as such. I've had this stuff for years, but it's been a long time since it's been anywhere but my lips. I guess it came up as a result of stress (mild) and sun (lots) and some abrasion (Scott's short bristly hair). The dr said to rest and stay out of the sun and heat. I've been trying. Boy have I been resting :)
Saturday we watched A Wrinkle in Time as a family. I didn't know it had been made into a movie in 2003. I thought it was pretty good. Gracie didn't, but she's still a little young.
Gracie helped me make salmon patties. She held her nose while she stirred the mixture. She really didn't last long considering how much she enjoys helping in the kitchen. I also made some protein bars for myself. Other than that, I worked on the Wisteria Fairy and listened to some Terry Pratchett.
You know, until I got streaming Netflix, I didn't realize that A Wrinkle in Time had been made into a movie either. I started watching it, but got dragged away from it a few times to tend to kid things and still haven't finished it. I feared it wouldn't live up to the book (one of my absolute favorites growing up), but I think I'll give it another try. I had barely got 20 minutes in when I had to stop.
